Cornhole Tournament set at Destin Commons

The second annual Destin Charity Cornhole Tournament will be held at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Destin Commons. The popular sporting event is a partnership with Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) and Cumulus Media with proceeds benefiting ECCAC in Okaloosa and Walton counties.
Registration fee is $100 per team of two for the double elimination tournament. Participants will receive a swag bag and T-shirt. The top three winning teams will receive cash and trophies with the first place team winning the grand prize of $500.
Each player will receive a wrist band giving them entry to the Beer Garden, complete with free bottomless craft beer, Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas, Belgian pretzels, wings and corn dogs. Spectators can buy Beer Garden wrist bands for $25. In addition, sets of cornhole boards, painted by local artists, will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefitting ECCAC.
