Summer Movies in the Glen

The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida and the Emerald Coast Science Center will host a free screening of "The Goonies" at 7 p.m. June 29 at the museum, 115 Westview Avenue, in Valparaiso. The movie starts as soon as the sun goes down, but arrive early for a special activity for kids starting at 7 p.m. The ECSC, with the help of MakeDo tools and a little imagination, will help kids make drive-in movie cars out of cardboard boxes.

"The Goonies" is the classic 1985 film celebrating friendship, determination, and adventure, so pack a picnic, popcorn, drinks, and some bug spray and enjoy some quality summer family fun. Please no alcohol or glass.
