Alzheimer’s support group

Alzheimer's Family Services will hold a support groups for family members or friends coping with a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease at 1 p.m. June 27 and July 25 at the Destiny Worship Center, 122 Poinciana Blvd. in Miramar Beach. The support group is free and limited respite care is available. To make arrangements for respite during the meeting, call 866-478-7790.

•Joint replacement: Bi-weekly education classes at 1 p.m. July 9 and 22 in the hospital’s Resource Center Suite 3 conference room. To attend, call Linda Ledford at 278-3646.

• Online childbirth class: Families will learn about the stages of labor, comfort techniques, common medical procedures, including epidurals and cesareans, and newborn and postpartum care. Engaging videos, personal birth stories, 3D animations, games, and activities make learning easy and fun. Rolling registration. Cost is $35.
