Destin City Hall

All City Council meetings, workshops, executive sessions and CRA Board meetings are held at the City Hall Annex, 4100 Indian Bayou Trail. All other board and committee meetings are held at City Hall, 4200 Indian Bayou Trail.

Republican Women

The Republican Women of Okaloosa Federated will meet at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 4 at the Wyndam Garden Hotel on Okaloosa Island. Okaloosa County Property Appraiser Pete Smith will be the speaker. Eucheeanna Chapter Daughters of the American Colonist will meet at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 4 at Niceville City Council. Membership is a unique opportunity to honor one’s lineage and heritage as a descendant of the American Colonials.  For information call 897-1278.

Garden Club

The Destin Garden Club will meet from 9:30-11 a.m. Feb. 10 at the Destin Library, 150 Siebert Ave. David Baxter, from One Feather, Native American Jewelry and Art in Palmetto Plaza, will speak about the connection between native American art, jewelry, and music to gardens. Choctawhatchee Bay Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 12 at the First Presbyterian Church, 134 Beal Parkway SW in Fort Walton Beach. Guest speaker, Donald Forgione, is director of the state of Florida Parks Service and the recipient of the Florida Park Service Interpreter of the Year Award. Seniors of Destin

The Seniors of Destin meet the fourth Friday of the month for a covered dish and to celebrate all birthdays for the month. The program is sponsored by the City of Destin and Gentiva Home Health. Each month has a featured guest speaker that pertains to senior living.  Call 685-5310.

Food Buying Club

Kiwanis Club of Destin

The Kiwanis Club of Destin meets every Thursday at 8 a.m. at the Destin Methodist Church Life Center on Beach Drive in Destin. The public is invited to attend the club’s weekly meetings.

Flotilla 1-4 USCG Auxiliary
