Destin City Hall

All City Council meetings, workshops, executive sessions and CRA Board meetings are held at the City Hall Annex, 4100 Indian Bayou Trail. All other board and committee meetings are held at City Hall, 4200 Indian Bayou Trail.

Garden Club

Valparaiso Garden Club will meet at 9 a.m. Oct. 14 in room 3 of the Valparaiso Community Library, 459 Valparaiso Parkway. New members and visitors are welcome. The program will be on fall gardening presented by Marie Harrison. In addition there will be a silent auction with all proceeds going to charity so please bring an item to donate.

Horticulture Studies Group

The Tri-County Horticulture Studies Group will meet at 10 a.m. Oct. 15 at the Navarre Library, 8484 James M. Harvell Road. Mary Peterzen, Santa Rosa County Master Gardener and member of the Panhandle Butterfly House Executive Board, will deliver a program titled “Monarch Migration.” Lunch will be at O’Connor’s Pub and Grill, 1878 Andorra St. in Navarre. FPRA

The Northwest Florida Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association will meet at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 20 at Brotula's Seafood House & Steamer in Destin. Republican Club

The Okaloosa Republican Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at American Legion Post 235, 105 S.W. Hollywood Blvd. in Fort Walton Beach. Okaloosa Tax Collector Ben Anderson will be the guest speaker. Price of dinner is $15. Make dinner reservations at 376-2287.

Embroiderers' Guild

The Sand Dunes Chapter of Embroiderers' Guild of America will have a program meeting from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Religious Education building, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on Valparaiso Boulevard in Niceville. Visitors are welcome. Call 496-3466.

Eucheeanna Chapter, National Society Daughters of American Colonist, will meet at Nov. 4. Membership is offered to ladies who can prove their lineage of descent from American colonist prior to July 4, 1776. The Eucheeanna Chapter is taking applications.
