Chocolat' Fare
The 13th Annual Chocolat' Fare will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at Destin United Methodist Church, 200 Beach Drive, in the DLC building. Everything chocolate will be available for purchase. Sweet treats for your Valentine await All proceeds go to various mission projects.
Fashion Show
Caring & Sharing in Santa Rosa Beach will have its annual fashion show and luncheon at 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at Sandestin Hilton Conference Center. In addition to volunteers modeling clothing from the Thrift Store, there will be door prizes and a silent auction of "high valued" items. Tickets are $35 and available at Caring & Sharing. SERRV Market
The Joy Circle of First Presbyterian Church, Fort Walton Beach, will hold its 15th Annual SERRV Market of fairly traded International Crafts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 13 and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 14 at the church, 134 Beal Parkway, in the Fellowship Hall. Call 243-3732.
Valentine Tour of Homes
The annual Valentine Tour of Homes presented by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 13 and 12-4 p.m. Feb. 14 showcasing stunning interiors, architecturally acclaimed homes and picturesque settings. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event, valid for the entire weekend with one entry per house. Tickets can be purchased at culturalartsalliance.com, Smith’s Antiques in Destin, Fusion Art Glass in Grand Boulevard, the Bayou Arts Center in Santa Rosa Beach, Sundog Books in Seaside, and Hidden Lantern Gallery in Rosemary Beach. Destin Library Workshop
The Destin Library will host a hands-on Family History workshop, Who Is in Your Family Tree? from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 in the library’s computer lab. The program is free and open to the public. Registrants must have a valid library card from any Okaloosa County Public Library. Registrations will be limited to 18 participants on a first-come registration basis. AARP tax help
Volunteers from AARP will provide free individual federal tax assistance on an appointment only basis from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays through April 14 at the Destin Library. Make an appointment at 837-8572. Assistance is limited to 2015 federal income taxes only. No state income tax returns can be prepared. No federal income tax returns with rental income can be prepared.
Evening with the Heart Experts
Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast will host an evening with the experts featuring cardiology and vascular health from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 18 at Mitchell’s Fish House in Miramar Beach. Guest speakers include board-certified cardiologists Dr. Charles Mayes, Dr. Angel Morrobel, and Dr. Stephen Phlaum. Complimentary blood pressure screenings will be available to guests. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. Seating for this free event is limited and reservations are required at 278-3600.
Women's Conference
The Shine On Women's Conference is Feb. 19 and 20 at The Palms of Destin. Tickets are free but you must register at www.shineonconference.org or call 366-3550. Free childcare provided by Dee Chernicky Ministries if registered. Holy Kidz Camp is contracted with Dee Chernicky Ministries.
Spring Craft Show
The City of Destin’s Annual Spring Craft Show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 19 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Community Center. There will over 50 vendors showing handcrafted jewelry, woodcarvings, paintings, food items and much more. Vendor booths are available for $45/residents and $55/non-residents. Food For Thought Thursdays
Travinia Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar, 435 Grand Blvd, Ste Q104, in Grand Boulevard, will give 20 percent of food and drink sales to Food For Thought Outreach during Happy Hour from 3-7 p.m. the first Thursdays of the month.
Bowling & Breakfast
The Destin Forward Class of 2016 will host Bowling & Breakfast from 8:30-10:30 a.m. March 4 at Uncle Buck's Fishbowl & Grill. Enjoy 2 hours of bowling for up to 6 with shoes provided. Addition attendees $15 each. Hot breakfast buffet provided by Uncle Buck's. Proceeds benefit Food For Thought in renovation and expansion of the new distribution center in Destin.
Bereavement Support Group
Share and learn more about the grief journey you are enduring with an Emerald Coast Hospice bereavement group at 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Destin Library. Groups are free and ongoing.
Library Seeks Volunteers
The Destin Library is seeking volunteers to teach or assist with the upcoming spring 2016 instructional computer program. Typically volunteers have experience using various software programs, online applications and devices. Alzheimer’s Support Group
The Covenant Alzheimer’s Support Group meets from 2-3:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Suite 3 Education Center at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. Group meets on the last Tuesday of every month.
Chasing Butterflies Walk
The First Northwest Florida Chasing Butterflies Walk will be held at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 27 at Destin Middle School. Register at 10 a.m. or register at www.tssus.org. Proceeds will benefit the local Turner Syndrome Society. Activities include food, fun, bounce house, face painting and vendors. Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market
The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday in Grand Park in Miramar Beach between Cantina Laredo and Tommy Bahama’s. Vendors will offer locally sourced food-based items including produce, eggs, milk, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, and pork, honey, pickled vegetables and gourmet jams.
Farmers Market
The WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Sunday at Cerulean Park. Traditional Farmers Market items such as local farm fresh produce, eggs, and dairy products will be available. There will also be a large variety of organic and homemade items such as Greek gourmet foods, hot and jerk sauces, grass fed beef, chicken, and pork. Market is held on Thursdays from March 12 through Labor Day.

This community event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays in Town Center in Rosemary Beach features fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, honey, cheese and more. Market is held on Thursdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Seaside Farmers Market
Get your pick of fresh produce, baked goods, dairy products, native plants and other unique offerings Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Amphitheatre behind Raw & Juicy. Enjoy special cooking demos and activities.
Bridge

Recreation and fitness activities at Destin Life Center at Destin United Methodist Church, 200 Beach Drive, include the following. • Game Room: Open to children age 10 and older from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Line Dancing: Class will be held on Thursdays. Beginner lessons 12:30 p.m. Open dance is 1:15-1:45 p.m. Intermediate lessons 1:45 p.m. Fee is $6.
• Pickleball: Sessions are 12-2 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. Monday; 10:30 a.m. to noon and 12-1:30 p.m. Wednesday; and 10:30 a.m. to noon and 12-1:30 p.m. Friday. Lessons are offered Wednesdays from 1:3 p.m.).
