League of Women Voters

The League of Women Voters of Okaloosa County will have a juvenile justice system improvement program update from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 Feb. 10 at Two Trees Restaurant, 1955 Lewis Turner Blvd. in Fort Walton Beach. Panelists include Deputy Gary Venuti from OCSO, Paul Wallis from Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, and Bill Bishop and Ginger Madden from the Shalimar State Attorney’s office. Carrie Raeburn, president of PSNF, will present a DVD of her trip to China last October where she attended the First China Pastel Festival in Suzhou, participated in an Alan Flattmann worship and then traveled on to Beijing. She also plans to share a DVD presentation of the paintings accepted into the Pastel Society of American's Annual "Enduring Brilliance" Exhibition last September in NYC.
