Story Time

Children ages 3 to 7 are invited to a special story time at 4:30 p.m. at the Destin Library on Fridays, March 13, 27, April 10, 24 and May 8 and 22. This program is for children and their parents. Enjoy stories, poems, and songs in two languages: Spanish and English. Registration not required.

UWF Emerald Coast

April Leake will be available at the Destin Library with information about UWF Emerald Coast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 16. Find out about Florida degrees available in Okaloosa County, the NWF2UWF program, or ask general UWF questions. Come loaded with questions about programs, degrees, or anything else you may want to know about UWF.

St. Patrick’s Day Escape Room

Try your luck from 5-7:30 p.m. March 17 in the St. Patrick's Day Escape Room at the Destin Library. There is no cost and no registration required. St. Patrick's Day has arrived, but the fairies are angry and have stopped time. Groups of up to six participants ages 12 and up will be given 30 minutes to escape from the time vortex or be trapped with the fairies forever. Turns in the escape room will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Independent Film Series

The Friends Guild of the Destin Library continues their Independent Film Series with "The Public" at 2 p.m. March 17. These movies are free to the public and you are welcome to bring light refreshments.

The Enchanted Forest: A Choose Your Own Adventure Opera

Come experience a unique child-friendly performance by the Pensacola Opera's Artists in Residence at 6 p.m. March 24 at the Destin Library. Escape to the Enchanted Forest where children help create the unique adventure to save the forest from a fire-breathing dragon. This performance is suitable for children ages 6 and up and registration is not required.
