Michele Perry to speak

Michele Perry will be special guest speaker/minister at 10 a.m. Sept. 23 at the Kingdom Life Vision Center meeting in the Phoenix ballroom at The Palms of Destin, 4201 Indian Bayou Trail in Destin.

She is affiliated with Heidi Bakers and carries a passion and love for the Father that’s infections and life changing. A seer from an early age, she ha had profound encounters with God that have shaped her destiny since she was seven years old. Perry has a passion to see all of Sudan saved and every one of the 3,000,000 orphans in Sudan have a home. She is ordained by Iris Ministries, Inc. and is the pioneering national field coordinator for Iris Ministries in Sudan.

Community Feast

Sunday, Nov. 18, will be a home coming day featuring all things good and plenty from pumpkins to peas and turkey, too, as First Baptist Church, 201 Beach Drive in Destin, welcomes saints and strangers to a grand community feast.

“By the goodness of God, we’re hosting a traditional Thanksgiving and inviting our community to join us to partake,” Pastor Farren Roper said. “We’re erecting a tent on the church playground, setting the table for a traditional feast filled with fun and fellowship with friends and extending a welcome to all of Destin to come have a home coming dinner on church grounds,” he said.

Sunday morning service starts at 10:30 a.m. with home coming meal at noon.

Coastal Holiday Market

Now seeking local artists, artisans, and vendors and crafters for the second annual Coastal Holiday Market to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at St. Rita Church in Santa Rosa Beach. For details and applications, contact Barbara Hodge at 267-6078.

The Gathering

The Gathering at Sandestin, a non-denominational Christian worship service, meets weekly at 10 a.m. in the Terrace Room of the Linkside Conference Center in the Sandestin Resort. David Seering, worship leader, and Billy Gray, pastor, lead the service.

Seering is a local entertainer who has performed for the military, three presidents, and a multitude of recording stars, not to mention many local events and charities. Gray is head of Billy Gray Ministries, a global missionary group that brings the Word of Christ.

Upper Room Morning Worship

Gather in the “upper room” upstairs at Marlin Grill in The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at 9 a.m. each Sunday for an interdenominational morning service of teaching, praise and worship. Dress casual. Call 543-4382.
