The Destin United Methodist Women's organization held its annual Christmas party Dec. 11 at the home of member Barbi Carroll. Toys were collected for Children In Crisis and a family was also sponsored for Christmas. New officers were installed for the new year.

The United Methodist Women are known for making and selling their Angel Jewelry and sponsoring the annual Fall Flair Craft Fair to support their many charities always with the children in their hearts. Among these are local Blue Lake church camp, Children In Crisis, Fresh Start, Harvest House, Hosanna House, Milton Girls Home and Mission Love Seeds.
