Big Daddy Weave

Big Daddy Weave with Chris August and Unspoken will be in concert at 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at Village Baptist Church, 101 Matthew Blvd. in Destin. Tickets are $15 and $22 on the day of the concert. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

In lieu of regular meetings in the Fort Walton Beach Stake, consisting of Olive Branch, Paxton Branch, DeFuniak Springs Ward, Crestview Wards I and II, Niceville Ward, Destin Branch and Fort Walton Beach Wards I and II, the following schedule will be observed for General Conference.

Broadcasts can be viewed at the chapels and on the BYU channels at the following times:

• October 5: Broadcast times 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. Priesthood broadcast, 7-9 p.m.

• Oct. 6: Broadcast times 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and final broadcast from 3-5 p.m.

Healing service

Immanuel Anglican Church will hold a healing service at 10 a.m. Oct. 6 in the church sanctuary, 250 Indian Bayou Trail inDestin. The service will include praise and worship, healing prayer with laying on of hands and anointing with holy oil. Holy Communion will be offered after the prayer service for those who wish to receive it.

Friends and members of Immanuel have witnessed several miracles of healing and look forward to seeing what the Lord will do in this season. Everyone is welcome to come and receive from the Lord.

Aglow

Fort Walton Beach Aglow will meet at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 10 at Marina Bay Resort, 80 Miracle Strip Parkway. Guest speaker is Prophetess Janet German. Call 862-4867.

The Gathering

The Gathering at Sandestin, a non-denominational Christian worship service, meets weekly at 10 a.m. in the Terrace Room of the Linkside Conference Center in the Sandestin Resort. David Seering, worship leader, and Billy Gray, pastor, lead the service.

Seering is a local entertainer who has performed for the military, three presidents, and a multitude of recording stars, not to mention many local events and charities. Gray is head of Billy Gray Ministries, a global missionary group that brings the Word of Christ. More information can be found at www.thegatheringsandestin.com.

Upper Room Morning Worship

Gather in the “upper room” upstairs at Marlin Grill in The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at 9 a.m. each Sunday for an interdenominational morning service of teaching, praise and worship. Dress casual. Call 543-4382.
