Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

In lieu of regular meetings, the Stake Conference will hold an adult meeting with music by the Stake Youth Choir at 5 p.m. June 7 and for all members, 9-11 a.m. June 8 at the FWB Stake Center, 339 Lake Drive.

Services changed

Apostles By The Sea Anglican + Episcopal Chapel will now worship at 6 p.m. Sundays at the Chapel at Crosspoint, 1477 S. County Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. 

LDS graduation

The public is invited to attend an early morning seminary graduation ceremony at 6 p.m. June 8 at the Niceville Chapel, 1100 Palm Blvd.

Students from eight units in the Fort Walton Beach Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be presented with diplomas for attending scripture study classes at 5:45 a.m. every school day for four years. The students studied the Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon and Church History over the course of four years.

Music and talks will be presented by the students.

Vacation Bible School

Destin United Methodist Church will have VBS, “Workshop of Wonders,” for children entering preK4 through fifth grade from 9 a.m. to noon June 23-25. Cost is $10/child. Visit www.destinumc.org/kids to register.

Beach worship

Destin United Methodist Church’s weekly beach worship will run throughout the summer. The service begins at 7:30 a.m. on the beach at Henderson Beach State Park. All are welcome to attend.
