VBS at Good News

Good News United Methodist Church in Santa Rosa Beach will hold VBS, “Weird Animals: Where Jesus’ Love is One-of-a-Kind,” from 9-12:30 a.m. July 14-18 for children entering kindergarten through sixth grade. There is an $8 supply fee for the week.

Kids will participate in music, snacks, games, crafts, and missions to help meet the needs of people in our area as well as providing clean water for kids in India, Imagination Station, a hands on science experiment class, KidVid, where they’ll hear about kids who are differentand unique, and Bible story. Family History Center

The Family History Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 339 Lake Drive in Fort Walton Beach, will be closed through July 22. It will reopen on July 23 with hours from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

Come Holy Spirit

Immanuel Anglican in Destin will host a new time with the Holy Spirit from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 29 in the sanctuary with informal teachings and sharing on the release of the Spirit. Childcare will be provided. Call 837-6324.    

Services changed

Apostles By The Sea Anglican + Episcopal Chapel will now worship at 6 p.m. Sundays at the Chapel at Crosspoint, 1477 S. County Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. 

Beach worship

Destin United Methodist Church’s weekly beach worship will run throughout the summer. The service begins at 7:30 a.m. on the beach at Henderson Beach State Park. All are welcome to attend.
