Candlelight service

Emerald Coast Baptist Church will have a candlelight Christmas service at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 23 at their new location in Holiday Plaza, 12273 U.S. 98, Suite #205, in Miramar Beach. The program includes narration of the Christmas passage and singing of traditional Christmas carols.

Christmas Community Dinner

Everyone is invited to Destin United Methodist’s Christmas Community Dinner from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 25 in the Destin Life Center on Beach Drive. Enjoy a Christmas meal with all the trimmings.

Sign language course

Destin United Methodist Church will offer a four-week beginning American Sign Language course from 6-8 p.m. Thursdays starting Jan. 8 in the Destin Life Center, 200 Beach Drive. Classes will be taught by Colleen Langdon of Washington. Cost of course is $50, ages 16 and above. To enroll, call 837-2021 or 582-2548.

Celebrate Recovery

Overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups every Monday night at the Destin Life Center on Beach Drive. Optional $5 dinner is from 5:45-6:30 p.m.; program 6:30-8:30 p.m.; and a dessert fellowship at 8:30.
