Destin AGLOW
Aglow International of Destin will meet from 10 a.m. to noon March 17 in the Charter Room at Emerald Grande, 10 Harbor Blvd. in Destin.
Ashley Lackie, an anointed prophetess who is gifted as a minister, psalmist, and prophetic dancer, will be guest speaker. She serves on the worship team of Vision Church at Christian International.
Serve-O-Lution
From washing windows to bringing cheer to local nursing homes, the students, faculty, and staff at Destin Campus, Rocky Bayou Christian School, will work in various service projects on its annual community service day, March 20.
Serve-O-Lution, called Work-a-thon for the last 26 years, reinforces the school’s ongoing mission of developing well-rounded students who are prepared not only for college and careers but for living enriched, productive lives.
As the event sponsor, Lenny’s Sub Shop will provide lunch for all the volunteers.
One Heart One Voice Women
Dee Chernicky Ministries monthly women’s meeting, One Heart One Voice Women, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon March 27 at The Palms of Destin, 4201 Indian Bayou Trail. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. Rev. Dee Chernicky and Dr. Mary Francis Varallo will minister together and Karen Longmire of Destiny Worship Center will lead worship.

More of the Holy Spirit
Experience Immanuel Anglican’s evening of seeking the Holy Spirit through informal teaching, fellowship and worship from 6:30-8:30 p.m. March 31 in the church sanctuary, 250 Indian Bayou Trail in Destin.
Guest speaker is Isa Bajalia, an Arab-American evangelical who served for 18 years as a pastor in war-torn Ramallah. His missionary work among the Palestinians, (predominantly Muslim) was on the volatile West Bank in the midst of an ongoing war.

Vacation Bible school
Destin UMC Expedition Everest VBS will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 8-12 at 200 Beach Drive for children who have completed Pre-K through fifth grade. Cost is $15/children. Caring Coach
Catholic Charities of NW Florida will hold a food distribution at 3 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at The Baker Recreation Center; at 1 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month at St. Margaret’s; and at 1 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month at Resurrection Church.
An ID is required for each household. Please feel free to tell anyone you know who may be in need of food assistance or SNAP enrollment to contact our office at 244-2825 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Celebrate Recovery
Overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups every Monday night at the Destin Life Center on Beach Drive. Optional $5 dinner is from 5:45-6:30 p.m.; program 6:30-8:30 p.m.; and a dessert fellowship at 8:30.
