Jesus calms the storm

Professional actor Shirley Simpson, who lives in Sandestin, gave the guest sermon July 25 at The Gathering, meeting in the Terrace Room of the Linkside Conference Center in Sandestin.

She talked about Jesus calming the storm while in the boat with Peter and the fishermen and said when we have storms in our lives, He is there in the boat with us. We are not alone.

Jesus said "Do not be afraid."  Mark 4:35-41.
