Women's Conference

A one day conference will be held Sept. 12 at Good News UMC in Santa Rosa Beach. Guest leader will be Neysa Wilkins, news anchor at WJHG Channel 7 in Panama City. KidzNet

Children ages 3 years old to 5th grade are invited to enjoy worship, games, learning about Jesus and making new friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays through Nov. 4 at Immanuel Anglican Church.

Come one Wednesday or come each week. Dinner is included. Free of charge with donations welcome to offset costs. One Heart One Voice Women

Dee Chernicky Ministries monthly women’s meeting, One Heart One Voice Women, will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 17 at The Palms of Destin, 4201 Indian Bayou Trail. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. Rev. Football Sunday

FWB First United Methodist Church will host head football coaches Tommy Johnson from Fort Walton Beach High School and Greg Thomas from Choctawhatchee High School at the 11 a.m. New Traditions service Sept. 20 at 103 First Street SE. Both coaches will be on hand to share about their faith and how their faith has made them into the person they are today.

Attendees are encouraged to wear red for Fort Walton Beach or green for Choctawhatchee. Tailgate fellowship including food and kids activities will follow the worship service.

Destin Aglow

The first Destin Aglow of the season will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 22 at The Tabernacle of His Presence/Hosanna House 814 Forest Street. Paul and Sarah Schmidt will minister through music. For information, email dodygriffith@gmail.com.

Embracing You Women's Retreat

Beach service

Destin United Methodist Church will have a beach service at 7:30 a.m. Sunday mornings through September at Henderson Beach Park.

Healing Rooms

Emerald Coast Healing Rooms, 215 Mountain Drive in Destin, is open for walk-in prayer ministry from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays. No appointments are necessary.

Caring Coach

Catholic Charities of NW Florida will hold a food distribution at 3 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at The Baker Recreation Center; at 1 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month at St. Margaret’s; and at 1 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month at Resurrection Church.

An ID is required for each household. Please feel free to tell anyone you know who may be in need of food assistance or SNAP enrollment to contact our office at 244-2825 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Celebrate Recovery

Overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups every Monday night at the Destin Life Center on Beach Drive. Optional $5 dinner is from 5:45-6:30 p.m.; program 6:30-8:30 p.m.; and a dessert fellowship at 8:30.
