The foundation for a school year rich in fine arts is being strongly built at RBCS’s Destin campus. Art teacher Mrs. Anne Hall is focusing on cultivating an awareness of all different elements of art with support of one of her parent volunteers, Mrs. Rhonda Flick, who specializes in decorative finishes on walls and cabinets as well as decorative murals and custom artwork.

There are several art events that will enrich the growing program, including an art auction, and the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools competition.

Students are also working on a collaboration assignment using recycled bottle caps to create a mosaic and Chihuly-inspired glass sculpture later this school year.

In addition to the events and collaboration assignment, RBCS students will also be completing a lesson in Gyotaku Japanese fish printing, where the students will also study local marine biology.
