Destin Aglow

Destin Aglow will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 27 at The Tabernacle of His Presence/Hosanna House, 814 Forest Street. Guest speaker will be Janet German, who

carries a “NOW” breakthrough anointing that shifts and releases you into divine purpose and victory as you are encouraged to reach the full potential of God’s plan for your life. Worship will be led by Paul and Sarah Schmidt.

Trunk or Treat

Destin United Methodist and Power Plant Kids will host the annual Trunk or Treat from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Destin Life Center, 200 Beach Drive. Enjoy games, inflatables, a free meal and candy.

Light the Night

Village Baptist Church’s Light the Night is a free family event for the community to come together and have fun from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 28. Activities include Trunk-or-Treat, hayrides, music, carnival games, inflatable slide, bounce house, cakewalk, and food.

KidzNet

Children ages 3 years old to 5th grade are invited to enjoy worship, games, learning about Jesus and making new friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays, through Nov. 4 at Immanuel Anglican Church.

Come one Wednesday or come each week. Dinner is included. Free of charge with donations welcome to offset costs. Youth at Immanuel Anglican provides a God-saturated, safe environment where youth can feel relaxed in worship and fellowship geared just for them. Healing Rooms

Emerald Coast Healing Rooms, 215 Mountain Drive in Destin, is open for walk-in prayer ministry from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays. No appointments are necessary.

ECHR is a body of Christ ministry, with teams from across the spectrum of Christian churches and ministries in this local area. It is operated by Kingdom Expansion Ministries International which also offers Bethel Sozo prayer ministry by appointment.

Caring Coach

Catholic Charities of NW Florida will hold a food distribution at 3 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at The Baker Recreation Center; at 1 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month at St. Margaret’s; and at 1 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month at Resurrection Church.

An ID is required for each household. Please feel free to tell anyone you know who may be in need of food assistance or SNAP enrollment to contact our office at 244-2825 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Celebrate Recovery

Overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups every Monday night at the Destin Life Center on Beach Drive. Optional $5 dinner is from 5:45-6:30 p.m.; program 6:30-8:30 p.m.; and a dessert fellowship at 8:30.
