Grief Support Group

The Destin United Methodist Church sponsored Stephen Ministers is forming a Grief Group for all those who have experienced a loss. The group will meet for six consecutive weeks. The group will recognize the need to grieve and the need to slow down and take it easy. One day at a time is not just a cliché, it is a guiding principle for those facing loss. Aglow

Fort Walton Beach Aglow and Community Lighthouse will meet at 9:30 a.m. May 12 at Marina Bay Resort, 80 Miracle Strip Parkway in Fort Walton Beach. The speaker will be Nikki Mathis, co-pastor of The Summit Church, with her husband, Chris. As worship director, she has a passion to see the body of Christ come to a true place of intimacy with the Father, seeking personal and regional revival. For more information, call 862-4867.

Women’s Meeting

One Heart One Voice Women is holding a monthly Women’s Meeting from 6-8 p.m. May 12 at the Palms of Destin Resort. Free childcare with registration. Destin Aglow

Nikki Mathis will be anointed worship leader and speaker this month when Destin AGLOW meets from 10 a.m. to noon May 17 at The Tabernacle of His Presence, 814 Forest Street in Destin.

A live weekly call in radio show, Life Issues Real Answers with Dee Chernicky and Valerie Peterson, airs from 11-11:30 a.m. Fridays on WPSM 91.1 FM at The Plaza, 4507 Furling Lane, Suite 206 in Destin.

Prayer Gathering

A 7:14 Initiative Prayer Gathering will be held at 7 a.m. Sundays at Grace-Gateway City Church in Mariner Plaza, 218 Eglin Parkway NE in Fort Walton Beach. Everyone is welcome.
