Aglow

Women's Conference

Hurts of the Heart Women’s Conference will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 12 at the Hollywood Church of God in Christ, 122 Hollywood Blvd. NE in Fort Walton Beach. The free conference is open to all women.

Speakers are Missionary Sue Johnson, Pastor Lois Johnson, Evangelist Lorna Hendrix and Pastor Barbara Williams, all from the local area. Food Pantry

The Anchor Church, 101 First St SE in Fort Walton Beach, has a food pantry serving the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. People 18 and over are allowed one visit per month. A valid ID is required.

Building 9 Worship

Village Baptist Church in Destin has Saturday night services in Building 9 — The Hang Out. The service will be called “Building 9 Worship @6:09. Community is welcome, especially those who must work on Sundays.

Radio Show

A live weekly call in radio show, Life Issues Real Answers, with Dee Chernicky and Valerie Peterson, airs from 11-11:30 a.m. Fridays on WPSM 91.1 FM at The Plaza, 4507 Furling Lane, Suite 206 in Destin.

Prayer Gathering

A 7:14 Initiative Prayer Gathering will be held at 7 a.m. Sundays at Grace-Gateway City Church in Mariner Plaza, 218 Eglin Parkway NE in Fort Walton Beach. Everyone is welcome. At 7 a.m., meet and greet with coffee and pastries. At 7:14, pray to heal our land. From 7:45-8:30 a.m., discussion on what each of us can do toward healing. Call 243-1763 for more information.
