Summer Bible Study

Three sessions of Bible Study for men and women with Bob and Diane Vereen from Chattanooga, Tenn., will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 5, 11, and 13 at the Enclave Condominium Clubhouse, 3655 Scenic Hwy. 98 close to Capt. Summer Days

Village Baptist Church in Destin will have themed summer days for kids who have completed K-5th grade. The cost for each day is $10. Family rate, if you have three or more kids, is $5 a day for the third. Snacks and a drink will be provided.

Messy Games will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 11 and Messy Paint Day July 18. Please bring a towel and sunscreen each day.

Hymns Tour

Christian saxophone recording artist Eirinn Abu and international recording guitar artist Manny Lopez will be in concert at 7 p.m. July 16 at Village Baptist Church, 101 Matthew Blvd. in Destin. They will be introducing the new CD “HYMNS.” Admission is free.

Eirinn Abu currently has eight CD’s available including two with guest artist Dolly Parton. Abu and his wife, Brandy Doyle, share their love for music with churches through their music ministry called “Music for Life Ministries.”

Manny Lopez has recorded with many pop artists such as Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Ricky Martin and others.

Grace Lutheran VBS

Welcome to A Mighty Fortress Vacation Bible School where kids learn that God is their refuge and strength. Friends may fail them. Family History Center

The Family History Center at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 339 Lake Drive in Fort Walton Beach, will be closed during July.

Food Pantry

The Anchor Church, 101 First St SE in Fort Walton Beach, has a food pantry serving the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. People 18 and over are allowed one visit per month. A valid ID is re-quired.

Building 9 Worship

Village Baptist Church in Destin has Saturday night services in Building 9 — The Hang Out. The service will be called “Building 9 Worship @6:09. Community is welcome, especially those who must work on Sun-days.

Radio Show

The live weekly radio show Life Issues Real Answers, hosted by Rev. Dee Chernicky, Valerie Peterson and Pastor John Skiles, airs from 11-11:30 a.m. Fridays on WPSM on 91.1 FM at 34 Harbor Blvd. Suite 206 in Destin.

Prayer Gathering

A 7:14 Initiative Prayer Gathering will be held at 7 a.m. Sundays at Grace-Gateway City Church in Mariner Plaza, 218 Eglin Parkway NE in Fort Walton Beach. Everyone is welcome. At 7 a.m., meet and greet with coffee and pastries. At 7:14, pray to heal our land. From 7:45-8:30 a.m., discussion on what each of us can do toward healing. Call 243-1763 for more information.
