Area church helps with hurricane relief
Destiny Worship Center has a new way to give relief monies for the Houston and south Florida areas called Text-To-Give. Just text the phone number 850-512-1300 with the keyword Texas for Harvey support or Florida for Irma support, followed by a space, then enter the numeric amount of money you would like to give. For example, "Florida 5" to give $5 for Hurricane Irma relief. All funds go directly to Hurricane relief.
If you’ve given to Destiny online before, you will be sent a reply to verify your gift before it is processed. If this is your first time to give to Destiny online, after you text the keyword, a space, and the amount, you will be sent a text to setup a secure online account to charge from the method of your choice. Just follow the simple prompts they give you, until you’re asked to confirm your transaction by replying to your original text with the letter “Y.” Your donation will be sent and an email receipt will be sent to you shortly.
