This year, Trunk or Treat will feature trick-or-treating on the LuLu’s grounds during BooLu’s with various businesses and non-profits handing out candy treats to the little goblins.

There will be a showing of the movie "Beetlejuice" from 3 to 5 p.m. Register throughout the afternoon, but no later than 5 p.m. for the 5:30 p.m. spooktacular costume contest divided into age groups of 0-3, 4-6 and 7-plush.

Kids can come dressed in their most creative costumes, such as witches, zombies, ghosts and fairies alike to partake in the costume contest with prizes for the winners. Best of all, this day of fun events is all free.

“All in all, it’s a great Halloween celebration for kids of all ages and their families,” commented Lucy Buffett, LuLu’s owner and sister of famous crooner Jimmy Buffett. “BooLu’s is definitely in keeping with our family-oriented tradition at LuLu’s. We love spreading the gumbo love!”
