POLICE BLOTTER: Deputies chase down naked man

On Oct. 26, an Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputy pulled into the parking lot just west of the Red Door Saloon on Harbor Boulevard and, after making a left turn, spotted a man who was completely nude.

Once the nude man spotted the deputy, he took off running. The deputy gave chase on foot.

The man ran across Harbor Boulevard, then behind Scuba Tech and other businesses, ignoring the deputy's orders that he stop. He was captured after he ran into a dead-end in a parking lot of a church on Mountain Drive.

The arrest report did not explain why the man was nude.

He was charged with resisting an officer without violence and has a Nov. 13 court date.
