Destin's farmer’s market opens Saturday

Destin's first Farmer's Market is set for its debut weekend.

The Destin Main Street Market will be located at the Destin Water Users office on Main Street and will feature a variety of vendors, featuring handmade jewelry, fresh produce and other tasty treats.

The market will be open year-round from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to organizers Tom Holt and Amy Collins Holt. Vendors confirmed for Saturday's grand opening include:

Henderson Farms — canned goods, salsa, preserves, and chow-chow

Camp Flowers — jellies and honey

Made by Amy — sweet breads, cookies and pies

Ocheese Creamery — fresh milk

Flutterby Antiques — handmade jewelry

Fresh made local bagels and cream cheese

Fresh from the farm produce

Hot boiled peanuts

Destin Water Users, which donated the space for the venue, is located at 218 Main Street. Be sure to find Destin's Main Street Market on Facebook. The market will be open rain or shine.
