AJ's can accommodate any size party, from small to large, and can build a menu to fit the occasion.

With the 65th annual Destin Fishing Rodeo winding down on the docks behind AJ's Seafood and Oyster Bar, it's time to start planning those holiday parties.

"Try AJ's for the holidays. We can accommodate anything from reserving a table for a party to reserving the whole restaurant for a party," said Tracy McCraw, AJ's director of marketing. "We're known as the place to go for a good party, so why not have your party at AJ's.”

There is room for small groups, large groups, upstairs or downstairs.

"We can do anything from buffet style to right off the menu … or a special menu just for that event. We can do high-end with lobsters and steak or low end with the appetizers and finger foods," he said, noting that the options are limitless.

In fitting with the upcoming holidays and a time of giving, AJ's will be having a "Shop, Dine and Win" event on Black Friday.

"For Black Friday on November 29th, AJ's will be signing guests up for the 'Shop, Dine and Win' giveaway that Friday only," he said. "Do your sales shopping that day, stop at AJ's Seafood and Oyster Bar for lunch or dinner, then register to win one of two $50 AJ's gift certificates we will be drawing for the next day."

Winners will be notified by email or phone, they do not have to be present to win.

One holiday party the children will not want to miss at AJ's is "Lunch with Santa" on Dec. 14 following the Destin Christmas Parade.

"Come and watch the parade out front and then walk over to AJ's where the children can have lunch with Santa," McCraw said. Home Depot and Bass Pro will have arts and crafts for the children to do. And of course Santa will be available for photos and the children will be able to get in that last order with Jolly Old St. Nick.

Then on Sunday, Dec. 15, AJ's is also a great spot to watch the Destin Boat Parade along the harbor.

"So if you've got a holiday party why not try AJ's," McCraw said.
