A teacher at Destin Middle school, Melody Pittman said her students will “see their teacher in a little different light.”

The Pittman Magic group, featuring Destin Middle School Language Arts Teacher Melody Pittman and her husband Dr. Julian Pittman will be performing new illusion show and fundraiser at Destin Middle School, October 16 from 3:30-4:45 p.m.

During the event, Destin Middle School Principal Charles Marello will attempt a daring escape after being chained and locked into a crystal box by The Pittman's and DMS School Resource Officer, Deputy Willis.

This production will be held on the stage in the school auditorium and is appropriate and enjoyable for guests of all ages. Admission is $5 at the door, and concessions will also be sold.

Funds raised during the event will be used to provide resources for the 5th grade, such as novels for classroom libraries, math, and science experiment supplies.
