AJ’s Fall Festivities: ‘Come on over and have a good time’

Fall Festival
It’s autumn and to celebrate the season’s change AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar is hosting their second annual Fall Festival October 20, from 1-4 p.m.
Bring the kids and enjoy some old fashioned family fun. Okaloosa County will be out of school for teacher’s work day Monday, so take advantage of the day off and take part in this awesome fall tradition.
“With the kids out of school it is something for parents to do with their kids,” said Marketing Director Tracy McCraw.
There will be free face painting by Arts from the Beach, a pumpkin decoration contest, fun fall themed games, and a bouncy house. Free hot dogs and drinks will be available while supplies last and each child will be given an AJ’s goodie bag filled with candy, a coloring book, and a Frisbee. Hands-on family activities will be provided by Home Depot, the Okaloosa County crime prevention team, Bass Pro Shops, Build-a-Bear, and Abrakadoodle.
“If you’re bored at home come on over to AJ’s and have a good time,” said McCraw.
As the cherry on top, AJ’s sunset cruise, SeaQuest will also be running a discounted dolphin cruise beginning at 4:30 p.m. Special fall rates are $20 for adults and $10 for kids.
Pumpkin Patch
As a way to give back to the community, AJ’s is hosting a pumpkin patch to benefit the Destin Fishing Museum.
Pumpkins of all sizes are on sale, priced by weight; so come on by and pick out your favorite to take home today.
“We have mini pumpkins for the kids, and a great photo opportunity with the haystacks,” said Pam Tolar, AJ’s Fleet Manager. “We are also giving away stickers for the kids and a pumpkin recipe book with the purchase of every pumpkin.”
The pumpkin patch is located on the south side of U.S. highway 98 in the parking lot in front of Galati’s.
