POLICE BLOTTER: Destin woman accused of stabbing boyfriend

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Destin woman with aggravated battery domestic violence after her boyfriend suffered multiple cuts and stab wounds following a verbal argument, according to a press release from the OCSO.

Heather Michelle Hudson, of Dancing Cloud Court, 31, was arrested Sunday, Jan. 25 at the apartment she shares with the victim. Deputies found 31-year-old Richard Sansom on his back in the complex's parking lot around 2:15 a.m., yesterday, with cuts or stab wounds to his arm, chest, left side of his neck, and left hand.

Another roommate says Hudson was angry at Sansom because he wasn't paying attention to her while all three were out at a Destin bar earlier in the night. He says when they got home, he went to his room, but then heard glass breaking and Sansom shouting for him to call 9-1-1.

Sansom was treated at Sacred Heart Hospital in Walton County and released.
