C-o-n-g-r-a-t-s: DMS student advances to regional Spelling Bee in Tallhassee

Destin Middle School sixth grade student, Gabe Tironi, won the Okaloosa County School District Spelling Bee held on  December 4, 2014 by spelling the words “buffalo” and “beige” correctly. He will go on to compete in the Big Bend Regional Spelling Bee in Tallahassee, Florida, on Feb. 7. If Tironi does well there, he could be eligible to take place in the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee being held in May.
