Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation Executive Director Marcia Hull honored those who have helped shape the course of the non-profit organization during the Mattie Kelly Day celebration Thursday morning.

It may have been foggy Thursday morning, but that couldn't put a damper on the bright lights shining on the members of the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, as the non-profit organization gathered at the Cultural Arts Village to celebrate Mattie Kelly Day and the foundation's 20th anniversary.

Led by Executive Director Marcia Hull and a board, past and present, determined to expand the cultural offerings in Destin, the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation has been recognized as one of the premier art organizations in Northwest Florida.

Whether it's the organization's outdoor concerts or arts festivals, Hull said the team has always strived to make a difference in people's lives. The All Kinds of Art educational outreach program allows the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation to "inspire" area youth, impacting more than 265,000 students in 57 elementary, middle and high schools, as well as the United Way and other organizations.
