WHO LET THE DOGS OUT? 15th Annual Run with the Dogs sees almost 200 participants (PHOTOS)

Almost 200 participants hit the streets of Indian Bayou on a picture perfect day Saturday as part of the 15th Annual Run with the Dogs 5K Run/Walk.

From labs and bulldogs to those big and small, there was a smorgasbord of breeds represented when the racers and their four-legged K9 friends took to the starting line. While some walked and others ran, one things was for sure, Saturday’s race was a tail-wagging good time.

And if one was to judge by the tongue’s lapping in bowls of water afterwards, the pups sure did get a workout and burned off some energy.

As for the human racers, they participated in various categories, including a 5K run; a 5K run with dogs; a 5K walk; a 5K walk with dogs; and 5K stroller categories.
