The fabulous fifties found its way over to Destin Middle School this week as the Mattie Kettie Arts Foundation hosted its Kamp Kellywamba, a visual and performing arts camp for children in grades first through eighth. Students, grouped based on grade, rotated through different arts classes throughout each day. The Log caught up with the second grade group in a drama class.

On Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Destin Middle School, the students will show the skills they learned in a performance for the public. The next “Kamp” will be in DeFuniak Springs during the last week of July on Northwest Florida State College’s campus.
