The Moore Brothers Band, comprised of Isaac Moore, 11, Daniel Perry, 20, and Jacob Moore, 16, chatted with the crowd during Friday night's unplugged VIP event at the SunDestin Resort.

Ahead of Saturday's inaugural Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation Bluegrass at the Beach, a VIP event was held Friday night on the sugar white beaches behind SunDestin. The quaint setting served as the perfect backdrop for an up close and personal preview of what was to come, as musicians strummed their banjos and sang right on the beach.

On Saturday, the stage at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village came alive as talented musicians put their spin on the bluegrass sound.

With the event freshly in the rearview mirror, Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation Executive Director Marcia Hull said she couldn't be more proud.

"We are so grateful for all of the support the community showed with our inaugural Bluegrass at the Beach event," she said. "Our warm welcome was clearly felt and we are already hearing from many of the bands that they would love to come back to Destin for an encore. It has been one of the highlights of our 20th anniversary and we have everyone who took part to thank for that."
