The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, dedicated to serving military and first responders through meaningful interactive experiences that enrich family relationships, announced Wine World as a sponsor of the Foundation’s Revitalization Retreats.

Inspired by the personal experience of Chris and Taya Kyle, Revitalization Retreats represent a unique opportunity for military and first responder families to downshift from the intensity of mission-focused life of service and reconnect. Retreats range from quiet countryside weekends to rock star events.

The first Destin Revitalization Retreat will take place during the Destin Beer Festival Sept. 22–25, 2015. This will represent the second Revitalization Retreat the Foundation has provided since its inception in November 2014.

“We are honored to be working with Chan Cox and Wine World to host two couples this fall in Destin, Florida,” said Taya Kyle, executive director of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation. “Their deep sense of community involvement and commitment to best-in-class service is what we strive to deliver each day through the Foundation.”

For more than 30 years, Chan Cox, owner of Wine World, has supported Northwest Florida by sustaining many annual charitable events and relationships. Most notably, the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, which raises more than $2 million each year for local children’s charities.

“I was moved by Chris and Taya’s story,” said Cox. “I was committed to find a way to contribute to Chris’s legacy and the Revitalization Retreats were the perfect way to make a positive impact for deserving military and first responder families.”

During the Revitalization Retreats, the selected military couples will receive luxury-gulf front accommodations from ResortQuest and ASI, VIP benefits from local businesses provided by the Emerald Coast Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and complementary dining from The Wine Bar and The Craft Bar.
