The streets were lined as the annual Destin Christmas Parade rolled down U.S. Highway 98 Saturday morning.

Saturday was the city of Destin's annual Christmas Parade, which saw 88 floats parade down U.S. Highway 98 from Old Time Pottery to the Community Center along Stahlman Avenue.

Jean Melvin, who recently retired from the Destin History and Fishing Museum, and Lt. Col. (Ret) Samuel Lombardo served as the honorary Grand Marshals for the 31st annual event. Participating floats donated non-perishable foods to Food for Thought in lieu of an entry fee.
