The Lulu’s Noon Year’s Eve event specializes to the kids who may not be awake when the actual New Year bells chime. The fun begins at 10 a.m. Dec. 31, on LuLu’s sandy beach behind the restaurant where there will be a sandcastle building contest, arts and crafts, inflatable bounce houses, and face painting. Live music will be provided by a kid-friendly band, Kathleen Rees & Pelican212.
The featured event is the big countdown to Noon with kid-safe “fireworks” and a huge beach ball drop to top it off.
LuLu’s is located in Destin at the foot of the Mid Bay Bridge, next to Legendary Marina.
