Okaloosa County saw strong winds and rain blow through Thursday, into the night and Friday morning.
Winds, which saw gusts up to 19 MPH according to the weather station at Choctawhatchee High School, caused some damage in Destin, as deputies from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office documented incidents at HarborWalk Village and the Chevron Gas Station at the intersection of U.S. Highway 98 and Stalhman Avenue.
City officials told The Log there was no damage to report, outside of what may have occurred at private businesses.
