Go Fly a Kite day sends dozens of kites to the sky

Kitty Hawk Kites held its annual Flying High on the Harbor event in Destin this weekend. Kites ranging in size from 25 to 100 feet were on display at Norriego Point, creating a fun and festive display in the sky high above the beach. Kitty Hawk Kites offered free stunt and power kite lessons and demos for the more adventurous kite flyer. The company holds the event twice a year, once in Destin and a spring event in Fort Walton Beach.
