New sports chiropractic office celebrates grand opening

Locals can find joint relief with a new chiropractic approach with Zimmerman Sports Chiropractic.

The office, which had its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, offers an integrative biomechanical approach to provide the best quality of care to athletes and the local community.

“I take a whole body approach and not just focus on the spine,” said owner Dr. Adam Zimmerman. “I focus on extremities and sports injuries.”

The sports chiropractic office officially opened in January and offers chiropractic adjustments, rapid release sessions and functional assessments. Zimmerman said he is Titleist Performance Institute certified to treat golf-related injuries, the only one in the area.

“I want active people to stay active and have a stable base so they can go out and do the things they want to do,” he said.

Sandy Wyatt, Destin Chamber of Commerce membership consultant, said she was proud to celebrate their newest member to the community.

“What made it cool was that he's from a military family and he chose to stay local and open up his business here,” she said. “Now he is part of our community.”

Zimmerman’s office, located at 12815 Emerald Coast Parkway W, Suite 108, will be open Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 850-312-1456.
