Young spring breakers had a week of fun activities during Destin Community Center’s Spring into Fun Spring Break Camp.
Kids from ages 5 to 12 years old enjoyed swim day, park day, splash day and even an Eggstravaganza Party. On Wednesday, some of the activities that brought local children together were sport games, Resolute Martial Arts and trips to the Destin History and Fishing Museum and The Redbird Art Experience art studio.
“I like the idea that they get exposed to Destin history, arts and crafts, and get exercise,” said Natasha Watson, as she watched her two children participate on Wednesday at the spring break camp. “But most important is that they can socialize and meet kids from other schools.”
