Pickleball players and lovers brought their A-game on Thursday during recreational play in the Life Center at Destin United Methodist Church.
Players came out to socialize, exercise and just have fun playing friendly, but competitive, pickleball matches.
“We have recreational play all year long for beginners and tournament players,” said Karen Parrish, the regional director for USA Pickleball Association. “We offer competitive courts to recreational courts.”
Destin Life Center’s Pickleball Club members pay $2 and non-members pay $4 daily to play the sport. For more information, call 850-837-2021 and ask for Karen Parrish.
