Legislative Delegation sets public hearing

State Rep. Mel Ponder and the members of the Okaloosa County State Legislative Delegation invite the community to join them for a public hearing to be held on from 5:30-7 p.m. Aug. 29 at Okaloosa County Commission chambers, 1250 N. Eglin Parkway, Suite 100 in Shalimar.

Delegation members will hear public comments on proposals for the 2020 Legislative Session. They may also consider and vote on a “local bill,” which is state legislation that only pertains to a municipality, taxing district, or school district within the county.
