Woman suffers minor injuries in two car crash in Grand Haven Township
A Ludington woman suffered minor injuries in a two car crash on Thursday, Sept. 3, on U.S. 31 in Grand Haven Township.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, 22-year-old Brittany Jemison and Amy Hamilton, 45, of Kalamazoo were both traveling southbound on U.S. 31 near Rich Street.
At approximately 6:45 p.m., another vehicle abruptly stopped in front of the vehicles driven by Jemison and Hamilton. Hamilton was able to stop in time to avoid the collision. Jemison, who was driving right behind Hamilton, was unable to stop and collided with Hamilton’s vehicle.
Jemison suffered minor injuries and was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital. She is listed in good condition. Hamilton was uninjured.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
