Okaloosa County deputies seeking suspects in fatal shooting outside Coyote Ugly in Destin

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office deputies investigate a fatal shooting outside Coyote Ugly on May 21.

One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting outside a Destin nightclub Friday morning, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office release.

About 3:30 a.m., OCSO deputies and investigators responded to reports of multiple shots fired outside Coyote Ugly on Harbor Boulevard in Destin.

Deputies found two victims in the parking lot. One person was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Deputies attempted lifesaving measures on a second victim, but the man died at the scene.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office investigators are trying to locate this vehicle in connection with a fatal shooting on Harbor Boulevard in Destin early on May 21.

Witnesses said the suspects were seen leaving in a white, newer-model car.
