Body camera footage shows the scene of a stabbing Sunday night outside a duplex unit on Skipper Avenue in Ocean City. The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to an area hospital and was in stable condition Monday.

His mother drove him to a nearby hospital for treatment, and he was in stable condition Monday morning, OCSO reported. No one was at the unit when deputies arrived. Investigators reportedly found fresh blood in the front yard.

Witnesses said the incident stemmed from an argument over allegations that the suspect, identified as David Oliver Jr., had stolen items from the victim’s mother. Oliver is believed to be driving a tan, 2003 Buick sedan.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the OCSO at 850-651-7400 or contact Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850-863-TIPS, emeraldcoastcrimestoppers.com, or through the P3 Tips Mobile application.
