The Track Recreation Center in Destin presents the Fifth Annual Fight the Fight, Find a Cure breast cancer fundraising event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. Guests are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day of Track activities while supporting Dr. Sandra Hanson’s Breast Clinic in Fort Walton Beach.

Cost is $15 per person for an unlimited full-park pass and $8 per person for unlimited Kids Country and golf-only pass. Passes are cash-only, as 100 percent of the proceeds go directly to the local breast clinic. The rides covered by the full-park pass include The Family Track, bumper boats, bumper cars, The Rookie Track, Kids Country, The Wild Woody, The Slick Track, and miniature golf. Passes do not include Bungee Jump, Sky Flyer or the Arcade. Standard safety height and age requirements still apply on all rides.

In addition to family fun on rides and miniature golf, guests may purchase hot dogs, drinks and homemade baked goods to support the breast clinic. Food items will be available while supplies last.

The Fight the Fight Find a Cure event was created in honor of a long-time Track manager Darla Petty, who fought and won her battle against breast cancer five years ago. Now in her honor, The Track hosts this annual event to raise funds for the local breast clinic that supported her during her battle.
