Cindy Putman to exhibit at Destin Library

The Destin Library will host an exhibit by local artist Cindy Putman in the library’s Calhoun Room from Dec. 5-31.

Putman is a graduate of the Brooks Institute of Art and Photography in Santa Barbara, Calif., worked as a production manager in the Art Department of the CBS Network, and ran a successful public relations firm (Putman & Associates).

Since settling in Destin some 20 years ago, she has pursued her artistic goal of painting on a sustained basis specializing in portraits of people and pets. According to Putman, “having a personalized portrait of the people and pets that we love always brings a smile as we view it each day. That’s why I paint. To bring joy to others.”

Prior to her exhibit at the Destin Library, Putman will be exhibiting at the Alys Beach small Business Show.

Hours for the Cindy Putman exhibit at the Destin Library are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
