Members of the Emerald Coast Harley Owners Group Chapter #3605 raised money to help the abused children served by the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and the at-risk abused and neglected children living at the Children in Crisis Neighborhood.

The 36th Annual Emerald Coast Harley Owners Group Chapter #3605 Toy Run closed out by raising over $13,000 to help the abused children served by the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and the at-risk abused and neglected children living at the Children in Crisis Neighborhood.

Over 600 bikers met at the Sam’s Club parking lot in Fort Walton Beach Sunday morning and paraded to the Niceville Mullet Festival grounds. Entry fee was $10 and each participant donated a new toy or gift card. Emerald Coast Harley Davidson of Fort Walton Beach and Sam’s Club sponsored the event again this year. Cumulus Broadcasting and the Northwest Florida Daily News helped spread the word to all the bike enthusiasts in the area.

“We must find the funds to continue our important mission of giving the children in our community a home and stopping the abuse," said Ken Hair, CIC president/CEO. "The annual Emerald Coast HOG toy run helps with that important challenge. Thanks to the support from HOG Chapter #3605, Emerald Coast Harley Davidson and Sam’s Club, we can continue with our very worthy cause.”
